Description

A small (once Scotland's smallest) distillery in Perthshire that began production in 1837. It is today owned by the independent bottler-turned-distiller, Signatory Vintage, who have placed a renewed focus on its single malt brands, introducing the heavily peated Ballechin in 2006.

Full-bodied and velvety with dried apricots, sultanas, black cherries, treacle, honey, molasses, clove, allspice, milk chocolate, caramel, oaky varnish, fruit jams, and a spicy Edradour character.
Finish
Long and warming with dark chocolate, dried fruits, gentle oakiness, wood tannins, blackberries, cocoa powder, and leather.
