- Rich caramel, honey, berry and pungent sherry. Toffee, light cocoa, some black pepper. Rich and syrupy, dessert forward with stewed fruits like strawberry, cherry, and blackberry. Notes of chopped parsley, basil, woodsy spice, brown sugar, coffee, candied syrup, and chocolate.
- Palate
- Moderate viscosity. Sweet berry, honey, toffee. Blackberry, plum, fig, rich cocoa and espresso. Syrupy character with milky coffee, brown sugar, strawberries, tart cherry, baking spices, pomegranate syrup. Sweet, slightly tannic oak, dark and sweet fruit like raisins and plums with candied syrup and a pinch of black pepper.
- Finish
- Long and sweet, with peppery undertones. Toffee, honey, plum, some cocoa and a big, rich blackberry character. Mocha and a lingering note of mixed fruit preserves. Cedar, spice, medium length. Dried plums and dates with cloves, remaining juicy before turning dry.
