Nose
Light, clean spirit with apples, pears, oranges, vanilla biscuits, soft grassy touches, and a faint hint of darker, dusty, slightly charred oak. Also, vanilla-rich wood, sweet, slightly fruity spirit, apple, pear, white grapes, and scents of grass and straw.
Palate
Sharper than expected with black pepper and chili pepper. Some oak, straw, alcohol, vanilla, and creme brulee. Robust but a bit clumsy. Hints of sweet yellow apples and peppery notes.
Finish
Rich and slightly more balanced with oak, straw, pepper, and fruit. Medium length with sweet barley and drying hay. Not overly long.
