Description
One of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland, Fettercairn was opened in 1825 and after having many owners (including Sir John Gladstone, father of 4-time British Prime Minister William Gladstone) it is at the heart of many of the Whyte & Mackay range. The malt produced is predominantly used in blends but they also produce their own range of single malts. Fettercairn has a very traditional style, known for its unique copper cooling ring distillation process which allows only the lightest vapors to rise, contributing to a light, floral, and tropical fruit-led profile.
