Description

Fleeting is a rare wine-cask finish from Michel Couvreur, born from their tradition of “wine casks exchange.” In 2018, freshly emptied fortified Pinot Noir barrels from Domaine Chandon de Briailles (Savigny-les-Beaune) were refilled with 5-year-old malt whisky that had already been aged in Oloroso barrels. After six more years of careful maturation in humid cellars, this 12-year-old release was bottled in February 2024 at natural strength (49% ABV).
