This Icelandic single malt from Eimverk Distillery is matured initially in an American oak barrel and then finished in a cask that previously held beer from one of Iceland's craft breweries. It is a single barrel bottling, aged for 3 years in ex-Flóki Young Malt barrels. Bottled at 47% ABV and without chill filtration or color, it offers a fascinating and flavorsome dram with notes of hops, yeasty pastry, chopped herbs, malt, vanilla, peach, grain sweetness, slight bright oak, a little brown sugar, and honey.
