Nose
Bright notes of sweet cherry and crisp green apples, mingled with rich apricot and structured rye aromas. Canned peaches, strawberry compote, and passionfruit are present, along with black tea leaves, complex baking spices, aged oak, and melted toffee.
Palate
Tart citrus flavors, including grapefruit rind and orange zest, give way to hints of sweet molasses, peppery spices, and decadent crème brulee. Rye-forward notes, cherry licorice, cinnamon, clove, cayenne pepper, and vanilla creaminess are also noted.
Finish
Long and gentle, with delicate honey and light mint. Fruits remain intense, reminiscent of Christmas fruitcake, with rum-soaked cherries, anise, fennel, and dehydrated apricots. Oak notes linger, with sweet orange candy and some rye sharpness.
