Description
The Gauldrons Campbeltown Blended Malt Scotch Whisky tells the story of the eponymous dark, stormy coves on Campbeltown's west shores, literally meaning 'bay of storms'. It is a marriage of the finest Campbeltown Malts, bottled in very small batches at 46.2% ABV, and proudly without colouring or chill-filtration. It is part of Douglas Laing's Remarkable Regional Malts series and draws exclusively from all three operating Campbeltown distilleries: Springbank, Glengyle (Kilkerran), and Glen Scotia. The bottle's spiderweb design is a nod to the local legend that King Robert the Bruce was inspired by a spider building its web in the bay to carry on fighting.
