Description

George Dickel Barrel Select is a premium small-batch Tennessee whisky, aged between 10 and 12 years. Only 10 barrels are hand-selected by the distiller for each batch. It undergoes the signature Lincoln County Process, involving charcoal mellowing, which contributes to its smooth, rich character. This whisky is known for its perfectly balanced, rich, and silky taste with hints of vanilla, spice, and charcoal.

Nose
Almond, grapefruit, wintergreen, white sugar, with notes of oak, candied nuts, vanilla, and a light wood smoke. Some detect buttered popcorn, bananas, caramel, and a hint of Flintstones chewable vitamins.
Palate
Caramel, almond, and baking spice, with a lush and round mouthfeel. Thick vanilla and caramel balance spicy wood tones, with oak spice, clove, and black pepper emerging mid-palate. Notes of toasted marshmallows, faint citrus, and mint are also present.
Finish
Medium and gentle, with lingering sweet caramel, dry oak, mineral, and almond notes. It offers a long, complex finish with more oak, corn, and cinnamon, leading to a pleasantly dry and clean conclusion.
