The Girvan Patent Still 25 Year Old is a single grain Scotch whisky produced by William Grant & Sons. It was launched in 2013 as a UK exclusive to highlight grain whisky and coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Girvan distillery, which was built in 1963. The original Girvan Patent Still was known as 'No 1 Apps'. This expression was aged for 25 years, providing sweet, fruity, and complex flavor notes.

Velvety smooth, sweet, with orange crème brûlée, vanilla, toffee, nutmeg, apricot, boiled fruits (apples, berries, oranges), melted toffee, oily complexities, pastry notes, cinnamon spices, bittersweet cereal grains, dried tropical fruits, and hints of star anise, ginger, and lemon zest.
Finish
Lingering sweetness, long and intense, with spicier, woodier flavors, coconut, desiccated dried coconut, bittersweet cereals, cinnamon sticks, a hint of lemon zest, apple pie, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, black and red pepper spice, leathery notes, nutmeg, dried fruit, and tropical fruits.
