Description
Named after the company that operated out of Dundashill distillery in the early 1800s, The Glasgow Distillery Company was set up by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall in 2013. This Glasgow 1770 Constantia Wine Cask release is a five-year-old unpeated, double-distilled single malt, initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks before being finished for one year and ten months in South African Constantia dessert wine barriques. This limited release of 980 bottles is bottled at cask strength of 56.6% ABV and is part of the Small Batch Series, showcasing the distillery's commitment to experimentation and diversification.
