Description

Named after the company that operated out of Dundashill distillery in the early 1800s, the Glasgow Distillery Company was set up by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall in 2013 and began producing Makar Gin in the early stages. Having laid down the first casks in March 2015, the Glasgow Distillery Co., hoping to welcome the new era of distilling in Glasgow, were able to proudly release their first whisky. This specific release, the 2018 Madeira Finish Twin Cities Edition, was a special bottling for the Whiskymesse 'The Village 2024' in Nuremberg, celebrating the twin city relationship between Nuremberg and Glasgow.
