Description

This is the Glasgow 1770 Peated Release No.1, a single malt Scotch whisky from The Glasgow Distillery Company, which revived Glasgow's whisky-making tradition after more than a century. It is double distilled with peated malted barley, using peat from Aberdeenshire on the Scottish mainland and water from Loch Katrine. The whisky is matured in virgin American white oak barrels and finished for eight to twelve months in Spanish Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and natural in color. This expression is part of the distillery's 'Signature Range' and was an inaugural peated release.
