Description

A peated single malt whisky from The Glasgow Distillery's Small Batch Series, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2025 at 5 years old. It was initially matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel before a secondary maturation in a French Pineau des Charentes Rouge fortified wine barrique. Bottled at 58.7% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and has natural color, with an outturn of 303 bottles.

Rich, sweet smoke with dark fruit character, maple-smoked ham, soft caramel, toffee apples, freshly cut hay earthiness, zesty orange, quince, and floral smoke.
Palate
Smoky BBQ notes, sweet butterscotch, dark fruits, blackberries, waxy orange zest, subtle nuttiness (chopped walnuts, smoked almonds), toasty oak, burnt sugar, and dried fruit richness.
Finish
Soft and lingering smoke, flamed orange zest, firm oak tannins, delicate fruity green peppercorn spice, slightly nutty, and earthy peat.
