Description

A single malt brand marketed by the Glasgow Distillery Company. It was introduced in 2018 and at launch was originally known only as 1770, a reference to the founding year of the original Glasgow distillery which closed in 1902. It was later updated to include the distillery name in 2020. A distillery in the Scottish city of Glasgow that produces single malt whisky and gin. When it opened in 2014, this is an unpeated, triple distilled single malt initially matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon cask before a finishing period in a Tequila cask.
