Description

Compass Box is a London-based independent bottler and blender of Scotch whisky, founded in 2000 by John Glaser. The Myths & Legends series was created to challenge popular notions in the Scotch industry. This second release is a single malt from the Speyside distillery Glen Elgin, crafted with whiskies of different ages ranging from 16 to 23 years old. It was bottled at 46% abv in 2019, with a limited release of 4,446 bottles worldwide. The whiskies were matured in a combination of recharred American oak barrels, refill bourbon hogsheads, and refill sherry butts. It is non-chill filtered.
