Description

A bottle of Glen Elgin 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on 21 February 1991 and matured in a single bourbon hogshead cask number 16060. It was bottled on 15 November 2016 by Master Of Malt for their Single Cask range. This release was bottled at natural cask strength without any chill-filtration or additional colours.

Pineapple chunks in Greek yoghurt, oily hops leading toward floral malt. A spicy hint of rye and subtle beeswax.
Palate
More tropical fruit sweetness at first, though soon enough allspice and cinnamon warmth takes centre stage. Some herbaceous thyme honey and a few segments of chocolate orange.
Finish
White pepper warmth continues. Tinned peach and juicy clementine notes last for a couple minutes afterwards.
