The unpeated single malt from Glen Elgin, known for its fruity Speyside character, was finished in a refill bourbon hogshead that previously held peated Islay whisky, imparting a subtle smokiness. This courageous cask craft develops a style of Glen Elgin like no other, combining mellow sweetness, citrus, lemon, and butter with influences of campfire smoke and sea spray. Bottled at 44.5% ABV, it is neither colored nor chill-filtered.
