Description

This is a Single Malt Whisky from the Glen Elgin distillery, bottled by Meadowside Blending as part of 'The Maltman' series. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021 at 13 years old. Matured in a single PX Finish cask (Cask No: 1227790), with an outturn of 286 bottles at cask strength (53.2% ABV). This release was specially selected for Whisky Import Nederland.

The nose has lots of sherry aromas with some hints of brown sugar.
Palate
The palate is creamy with toffee apple and cinnamon. Give it time and maple syrup, chocolate and raisins will come through with lots of warm spices.
