Description

Glen Garioch distillery was founded in 1797 by John Manson, making it amongst the oldest distilleries in Scotland. It is known for its heavy, thick, cereal and spicy notes, which are attributed to its short fermentation period. This particular release is a 26 Year Old Single Cask #1807, distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2012. It matured exclusively in North American Oak. The distillery is located in the Highland region of Scotland, in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, known as 'the granary of Aberdeenshire'.
