Sweet honeycomb, chocolate truffles, and treacle toffee blend with notes of green apple peel, dusty peat, and a touch of smoke. Hints of pineapple, strawberries, and mint are present, alongside nutty aromas of peanut brittle, hazelnuts, and almonds.
Palate
The palate is initially sharp and woody, with notes of liquorice root, cinnamon spiced apples, and polished oak. Creamy, buttery textures are present, alongside caramel, sweet and salty notes, and hints of banana and peach. A soft smokiness and peppery warmth emerge.
Finish
The finish is long and spicy, with ginger and waxy notes. Oak and soft tree bark are prominent, accompanied by salted caramel, fudge, and sweet fruits like apples and sultanas, fading into lingering green leaves.
