Description

Perhaps one of Scotland's most important whisky companies, Gordon & MacPhail is a historic blender, independent bottler and distiller. It was founded in Elgin in 1895 and among its brands include Benromach single malt, and independent labels such as Connoisseurs Choice and its Distillery Labels. This 50 year old single malt was distilled in 1939 and bottled in 1989 under the Glen Gordon label, from an undisclosed distillery, often rumored to be Macallan.
