This Glen Grant 170th Anniversary is a special edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled in 2010 to commemorate 170 years of the distillery's passionate whisky making. Crafted by Master Distiller Dennis Malcolm, it is a blend of valuable casks, including some dating back to 1976 and 1999, and was bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration. Matured in oak, sherry, and bourbon casks, this limited edition release offers a rich and complex profile.

Palate
Rich Christmas cake notes with heaps of fruit and a little smoke, smooth with flavors of seaweed, raisin, and sugar cookie. Sweet and fragrant with rich preserved fruit, a tad spiritiness, and a piquant vegetal bitterness like rucola or rhubarb.
Finish
Pleasant, long, and lingering, strong and intense with notes of spice and raisins, and a touch of smoke.
