Description

Glen Grant 18 Years Old 1L is an exceptional Speyside single malt, matured in the highest quality hand-selected ex-bourbon and re-made hogshead casks. The nose offers rich floral and malty aromas. The palate is complex with delicate notes of vanilla, butterscotch and raisins, ending with a touch of spice and a long finish. In the 2019 edition of his Whisky Bible, Jim Murray named the Glen Grant 18 Years Old the Second Finest Whisky in the World. High praise indeed!

Rich and floral with oaky overtones and hints of baking spices, pear, apple, cut grass, toasty brazil nuts, biscuit, creamy vanilla, soft buttercream, honey, almonds, spicy ginger tea, cinnamon, and lemongrass. [4, 8, 20, 24]

Malty caramel, delicate, dried raisins and vanilla, butterscotch, rich and fruity with pear drops, apple, cut grass, passion fruit, toasted almond, spice (cinnamon and black pepper), maltier and butterier, with stroopwaffel, ginger snaps, brown sugar, and cinnamon toast. [4, 8, 17, 20, 24]
Finish
Long, sweet with hints of nuts and spice, subtle spicy, bold spicy, lingering fatty texture, oak and toasted coconut, rich butteriness, jam-smeared fresh croissants, hints of citrus and cinnamon. [4, 15, 20, 22, 24]
