Nose
Initially sweet with vanilla fudge, strawberry, and raspberry nuances, developing into thick apricot jam. Waxy polish aromas mix with cinnamon and candied orange peel. Gentle smoky traces and a subtle fresh mint note unfold. Also notes of beeswax, honey, pollen, old wood, and an 'Indian' side with cashew sauce, soft curry, coriander, and lemon basil.
Palate
Smooth with subtle sherry-soaked fruit flavours fusing with fresh orange zest and cardamom. A slightly dried herbal element transforms into mouth-warming cracked black pepper and aniseed. Dark caramel, cigar tobacco, mocha, and menthol are present, along with oranges, earl grey tea, and shoe wax. It has an oaky balance with white pepper, eucalyptus, black Assam, cinnamon, stewed peaches, honey sauce, and liquorice wood.
Finish
Long and lingering, introducing elegant charred oak and flashes of citrus. Notes of chlorophyll, mint, cough lozenges, cinnamon mints, bitter oranges, pomegranates, orange marmalade, caramel, mocha, tobacco, and beeswax. It is incredibly gentle and caressing, with spices and hints of dried orange slices, apple, and ripe pear.
