Description

A single malt whisky presented as part of the final run of Whisky Sponge editions from Decadent Drinks. This 2003 vintage Glen Grant was aged for two decades in a single first-fill barrel and bottled at 57.1% ABV. The label design is a tribute to classic Glen Grant labels.

Lush and inviting, with layers of sweet, overripe yellow and green fruits bathed in custard and dessert wine. Rich, thick, and beautifully mature, with very pleasant and lovely aromas.
Palate
Mouth-filling and complex, with honey, pollen, beeswax, ripe banana, greengage, melon, and kiwi. A gentle peppery warmth complements grassy olive oil and delicate waxy notes. Very elegant, rich and full-bodied.
Finish
Long and lingering, with creamy custard, dessert wine influences, and a final flourish of wax and dried fruits. Perfect, long lasting finish.
