Description
A Speyside malt distillery that was originally built as a brewery in 1828 before converting to whisky production in 1897. It was an important part of the Macdonald & Muir portfolio in the 20th century, however as of 2008 has been owned by the La Martinquaise division of COFEPP in France. This is a light, smooth, and fruity single malt, matured in American oak bourbon casks, many of which are first-fill, making it an approachable and easy-drinking introduction to Speyside whiskies.
