Description

This Glen Ord 2012/2022 is a 9-year-old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, part of the Artist Collective series by La Maison du Whisky. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022, it was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. Nose
Full-bodied, subtle. Ethereal notes of William's pear, watercress, green walnut, vanilla, and cut hay. Fragrances of orange blossom and hyacinth, becoming increasingly medicinal (ointment, mustard poultice) and malty.
Palate
Lively, concentrated. Spicy attack with star anise, nutmeg, and clove, echoing medicinal notes. Herbaceous (green barley) and fruity (pear, apple) mid-palate, with citrus (lemon, grapefruit) and verbena. Vanilla and mentholated finish.
Finish
Long, silky. Refreshing flavors of coriander, dill, and parsley, with a pleasant honeyed sweetness and grains of barley.
