Nose
Intensely sherried with cacao, cherry, blackberry, wine vinegar, lacquered wood, coffee and a bit of smoke.
Palate
Cherries (both sweet and sour), raisins, citrus, balsamico, dark chocolate, some tannins. Also heavy on mushrooms and sulphur.
Finish
Reminds of Schwarzwalder kirsch. Earthy notes take over (mushrooms again!), dried herbs, pecan nuts, more sulphur and a whiff of smoke.
