The second-oldest operating distillery in Campbeltown and one of the smallest in Scotland. Despite a turbulent 20th century, the distillery and its brand has enjoyed success in recent years under the ownership of Loch Lomond Group. Distillery Bottling is a term used to define a whisky bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding of the distillery itself. This is also known as an Official Bottling. The Glen Scotia 11 year old Society Edition is a single malt limited edition that shows how to stylishly marry tradition and a spirit of experimentation. Here, former Oloroso sherry casks meet former Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, before developing their very own signature harmony by Michael Henry in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. This bottling is cask strength, non-chill filtered, and in its natural color. It is a limited edition with only 1,698 bottles for Germany.
