Nose
Overflowing with raisins, butterscotch and sweet spices, dark vanilla, peanut brittle, sour rhubarb, red apples, strawberry sweets, dates, milk chocolate pastries, Belgian chocolate ice cream with caramel, heather honey, dark chocolate, figs, fruit cake, mocha, cinnamon, dark cherries, golden syrup, and hazelnuts.
Palate
Rainbow of sweet spices, raisins and butterscotch develops into banana, orange peel and dark chocolate. Rich and oak-spiced flavours from PX casks, dried fruits, raspberries and cranberries, balanced by honeyed oak, dark chocolate shavings and tiramisu. Walnut, Christmas spices, fresh ginger, heather honey, cocoa, and caramelised brown sugar. Lashings of fig syrup, mocha, treacle, sweet spices, and ginger.
Finish
Medium length, slightly dry and nutty, like peanut brittle with chocolate and fresh sweet fruitiness. Dry and sweet with notes of burnt oak, black coffee, demerara sugar, sour espresso, coffee, Turkish delight, and a hint of flaky sea salt.
