Description

From GlenAllachie's Wood Collection, this is a limited edition 9-year-old single malt Scotch whisky. It was initially aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Amontillado sherry hogshead casks. Amontillado sherry undergoes an additional maturation period without a 'flor' layer, a stage of oxidative ageing that develops a richer colour and more robust characteristics. This whisky is bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with natural colour.
