The GlenAllachie 9 Years Old Douro Valley Wine Cask Finish is an expressive bottling from the innovative Wood Finish Series by the GlenAllachie Distillery. This single malt was initially matured in American ex-bourbon casks before being finished in former red wine casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal. The subsequent maturation in Douro Valley Wine Casks gives this GlenAllachie additional aromatic depth, characterized by dark berries, delicate tannins, and sweet spice, which blends harmoniously with the fruity and malty distillery character.
