Description

A Speyside malt distillery located in the town after which it is named. It was built in 1967 by Mackinlay-McPherson and was traded around several notable distilling companies before being sold to Billy Walker in 2017. Under current ownership, its single malt has emerged as well-respected brand. This Glenallachie 9 Year Old Fino Sherry Cask Finish is part of the limited edition Sherry Cask Series within The Wood Collection. It was initially aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in expertly selected Fino sherry casks. Bottled at 48% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and has natural colour.
