Description

The GlenAllachie 4 Year Old Future Edition is the final bottling in the Billy Walker 50th Anniversary Trilogy, celebrating Master Distiller Billy Walker's half-century career in the whisky industry. This release is significant as it is the first peated single malt from GlenAllachie and the first spirit distilled under Billy Walker's ownership since he acquired the distillery in 2017. Matured for four years in a medley of former bourbon, rye, and virgin oak casks, this 60.2% ABV whisky is presented at natural cask strength, natural color, and is non-chill filtered. It hints at the future direction of the distillery, showcasing a peated expression made with Speyside peat from St Fergus and a lengthy fermentation of 160 hours.

Finish
Medium to long finish with lingering sweetness, featuring caramelized fruits, a hint of oak, and a touch of baking spices, with notes of nutty, pipe smoke, and damp peat.
