Description

Meikle Tòir (meaning 'big pursuit') is GlenAllachie's peated single malt range, carefully crafted and cask-perfected at The GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside. This 5 Year Old 'The Chinquapin One' expression was initially laid down in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and then matured in superior Chinquapin virgin oak barrels sourced from the Northern Ozark region of Missouri, USA. It is peated to 35 ppm, features a lengthy 160-hour fermentation, and was bottled in 2023 at 48% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
