Description

Meaning Big Pursuit, Meikle Tòir is Glenallachie's Speyside peated whisky. Made using premium mainland peat for an oaky, sweet smoke style, it is deliberately bottled young to capture the bold and punchy hit of peat smoke before it mellows with age. The Original 5 Year Old has been expertly aged in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels, American virgin oak casks and rye barrels, with a phenol level of 35ppm and a strength of 50% abv. It is free from chill filtration and at natural colour.
