A Speyside malt distillery located in the town after which it is named. It was built in 1967 by Mackinlay-McPherson and was traded around several notable distilling companies before being sold to Billy Walker in 2017. Under current ownership, its single malt has emerged as a well-respected brand. Our Master Distiller, Billy Walker, is passionate about wood management. After spending endless hours monitoring across our 16 warehouses, he hand selects a small batch for our single cask series. He finds the perfect balance of wood, spirit and consequence. It is an experience to witness the unique interaction of wood, spirit and subsequent flavour development in his pursuit of excellence, he leaves no stone unturned.
