Description

A Speyside malt distillery that is owned by the Chivas Brothers division of Pernod Ricard. Since first acquired by Hiram Walker in 1930, the distillery has been essential to the Ballantine's blends and very little of its production has ever been spared for bottling as single malt.

Discrete oak transitioning into abundant citrus and light hints of white pepper. Elegant hints of vanilla and white fruit emerge later.
Palate
Lightly tingling and creamy mouthfeel. Here, the oak is more present without becoming dominant. Pleasant spiciness and roasted fruit.
Finish
Farmhouse honey, vanilla, and later again, beautiful hints of oak.
