Description

A Speyside malt distillery that is owned by the Chivas Brothers division of Pernod Ricard. Since first acquired by Hiram Walker in 1930, the distillery has been essential to the Ballantine's blends and very little of its production has ever been spared for bottling as single malt.

Banana and Ulmo blossom honey lavished over oatcakes, macadamia nuts and honeycomb toffee develop.
Palate
Remarkably fresh and zesty. Pear and fresh grass give way to a pleasant and lasting custard undertone. Smooth and softly sweet. Damson emerges in the mid-palate.
