Nose
Initially elusive, with grassy notes or new pencils in a tin box, then jam tarts, caramel wafers, rum-flambéed banana with brown sugar and cinnamon. With water, hints of lino cuts, wild grass shampoo, sugared almonds, fruity boiled sweets, heather honey and peach melba.
Palate
Cherry jam, red liquorice, crème brûlée and a strident streak of apple strudel. With water, chestnut jam, coconut, hazelnut, watermelon and porridge.
Finish
Pleasantly warm with chilli chocolate, candied citrus peel and lemon pepper.
