Description

A new single vintage limited release from Glencadam. This whisky was distilled in 2006 and initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks. After marrying, this whisky was then finished in French oak casks previously used for Cognac which have imparted more summer fruits, spice and nuts to Glencadam's elegant spirit style.

Nose – Aromatic and inviting with notes of roast chestnut and peanut brittle overlapping sweet bramble and summer fruit pudding. Palate – Layers of soft almond nougat, mocha and fresh crepes mingled with lemon oil, hazelnut cream and warming baking spices. Finish – Toasty and warming with dark berry fruits fading into ground coffee and cigar spice linger.
