An ultra-rare 40-year-old Glendronach single cask whisky, distilled on 25th February 1971 and matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask #1436 for 40 years before being bottled in July 2011. Glendronach, founded in 1826 by James Allardice, is renowned for its deep commitment to traditional production and long sherry cask maturation, with this release highlighting the influence of sherry cask maturation in its purest form.

Long, warming and gently spiced, with lingering fruit and oak, hints of leather, smoke, spices, walnuts and tobacco notes.
