Description

A malt distillery located in Forgue by Huntly in the eastern Highland region. As of 2016 it is American-owned by the Brown-Foreman Corporation through its Benriach Distillery Company subsidiary. Famed for its preference for sherry cask-ageing, it has long been an established single malt brand. The Glendronach distillery is known for its full-bodied, sherry-led style, primarily matured in Spanish Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, creating whiskies with notes of dark fruits, treacle, Christmas cake, spice and chocolate.
