Nose
Delicate Sherry influences initially with stewed pear, green apple, and lime cordial. Subtle tropical pineapple and banana notes develop and mingle with hints of menthol. A delightfully complex spicy and perfumed nose.
Palate
Sweet vanilla, green apple, and tangerine flavours are enhanced by hints of cracked black pepper. A milk chocolate edge is complemented by a liquorice tang. Extremely rich and very balanced in flavour. Gentle, with orchard fruits (apple, pear) as well as spices like aniseed, black pepper and fennel. A light mustardy side as well. Orange zest. Mentholated oak, as well as some earthy, leafy touches.
Finish
Medium with a lingering menthol edge. Long and warming. Fairly long, with plenty of green, herbal notes and menthol.
