Description

The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is a powerful Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 60% ABV. It is a no-age-statement expression, though often suggested to be matured for 8-10 years. This whisky is renowned for its rich sherry character, matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, and was notably the first commercially available cask strength whisky, introduced in 1968. It is non-chill filtered and presented with natural color.

Long, warming, and powerful, with lingering spiciness, oak, and sherried fruit. It can be peppery and nutty, with notes of dried fruits, Christmas cake, and a marmaladey character.
