Description

This is a 1990s official bottling of Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Glenfarclas, an independent Speyside distillery, has been family-run since 1860. The 105 expression, first announced in 1968, is named after its 105 British proof, equivalent to 60% ABV. It is matured in a combination of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, often Oloroso sherry casks, and is typically a non-age statement whisky, generally aged between 8 and 10 years. The distillery uses direct-fired stills and is known for its traditional Highland malt with a heavy sherry influence. This release comes with its original presentation tube.
