Description
Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries, Glenfarclas is one of the few of its age to still be family-owned, with J&G Grant running it in a traditional manner since 1898. They notably use direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit. This 12-year-old expression is an excellent introduction to the distillery style, showcasing a heavy sherry influence with notes of dried fruits, nuts, and a touch of oak. This particular bottling celebrates the 12th anniversary of the Saint Andrew's Friendship Group.
