Nose
Delightful aroma of stewed dark fruits like pluots, figs, and plums, with hints of honey, fruit cake, and syrupy cherries. Underlying notes of polished oak, antique leather, and a subtle spice cupboard warmth.
Palate
Smooth and complex, featuring layered sherry influence with raisins, stewed fruits, dark chocolate, and rancio. Earthy and nutty notes are present, along with a touch of spice and a hint of peat.
Finish
Medium-long and caressing, revealing cooked plums, fig reduction, earthy mustiness, and old leather. Dark chocolate, forest herbs, and a delicate vanilla sweetness lead to a spiced and drying conclusion with cinnamon and black tea tannins.
