- Nose
- Sweet barley sugar and young fruity notes (coconut, berries), heather and vanilla biscuits, older sherry (figs, dark chocolate), subtle oak, wax, dusty books and gravel. Very complex and well integrated. Also, sticky date pudding, toffee, caramel, freshly sawn wood, coffee, leather, old oak, oranges.
- Palate
- Spicy (cinnamon, pepper), orange liqueur and Seville oranges, growing more herbal with heather, old oak and leather. Christmas pudding with candied peel, mixed dried fruit, crisp fresh green apples, dry tannins, thick, creamy mouthfeel. Light to medium sherry influence, touch of mint, classic Glenfarclas red fruits profile.
- Finish
- Medium length, mint, apples, cocoa note. Christmas pudding lingers, lively oakiness, candied peel (marmalade). Dash of tea and berries.
